Frequently asked questions
What climates or sleeping conditions is the Vispring Regal Superb Mattress best suited for?
The Vispring Regal Superb uses natural fillings like Shetland wool, British fleece wool, cotton and horsetail, which can help regulate temperature and moisture. This makes it comfortable in a range of sleep environments and climates.
What materials is this mattress made from and what does that mean for daily use?
It combines hand-teased South American horsetail with natural wool and cotton fillings, plus upholstery with wool and viscose. The hand-nested Calico pocket springs provide targeted support, aiming for lasting comfort with a premium, breathable construction.
Who would this mattress be a good fit for and who might prefer something else?
It suits sleepers who value natural fillings, precise hand craftsmanship and multiple firmness options (soft, medium, firm, extra-firm). For those seeking a non-natural or lighter-fillbed feel, a different construction may be preferable.
How should I set it up or care for it to keep performance over time?
Place it on a sturdy divan or bed frame designed for pocket-sprung mattresses. Regularly rotate per your preference to promote even wear, and use a suitable mattress protector to maintain the natural fillings' integrity.
How does the firmness option work, and can it be split for a shared bed?
The mattress offers multiple firmness levels: soft, medium, firm, and extra-firm. For king sizes, split firmness configurations are available to accommodate different comfort needs in a shared bed.
